- Content curation

- Organic content sharing

- Interaction and sharing other's content

- Scheduling of selected content

 

Manuscript Typing and Proofreading:

- Typing up into correct format of hand-written or typed 'legacy' manuscripts

- Preparing typed manuscripts into correct format for submission/publication

- Proof-reading - Checks & corrections of spelling, grammar, punctuation & format

- Liaison with editor/publisher as required

- Assisting with self-publishing

 

How to know which tasks you can outsource:

Sometimes this will be glaringly obvious!

​Try making a list of everything you need to do on a weekly basis (or monthly if there are monthly recurring tasks) - This could be anything from organising paperwork, inputting information into a spreadsheet or database, updating and maintaining your website, typing those letters or quotes, chasing payments or feedback. The list is endless!

​Separate this list into two (for example):

1. Tasks you must manage yourself

2. Tasks that are necessary but you just don't have the time or know-how

​Then decide which tasks you could outsource, bearing in mind your budget but also knowing that money spent on outsourcing = more time you can spend on the most important things. In the long run, you will be less stressed and more able to concentrate fully on your business.
